It all started when...

Andrew Hund, owner at Hund's Recycle Factory, had the big idea that people who want a bike, deserve a bike to set them on the right path in life...a bike path. Since 2010, Hund's ReCycle Factory has provided the Norfolk, VA community with a place where old bikes go to start a new life, and the community goes for all types of cycle related needs. Hund's ReCycle Factory has donated hundreds of bike throughout the region, and installed countless custom bike racks for people to safely park their steed.

As the crunchy ambassador to the Norfolk bike community, We Love People & Bikes came out of a desire to connect the people of Norfolk and surrounding cities through shared interest in keeping each other safe on the road. Our goal is to curb excessive speeding in the community through public awareness, partnering with local businesses and organizations, and to increase bike safety and ridership throughout the region. It's not about the gear, it's not about the tight shorts (we love those too), it's about people, and a love for one another's company on the great bike path we call Hampton Roads, VA.
